March. Vote. Win. 2018.

Since November 2016, we’ve worked together to defeat attacks against our health and rights–both as individuals and as a community. Now it’s time to hold politicians accountable and elect leaders who will fight with us. It’s up to us to take back the power from those who are determined on dividing us.

From day one, the Trump-Pence administration has attacked our health, our rights, and our freedoms. The public doesn’t support its extreme agenda, but that hasn’t stopped the administration which has wielded its power through executive orders, regulations, and agency changes.

When such extreme moves are taking over Washington D.C., the only backstop to protect us is our Governor and the state legislature. Unfortunately, the legislature in Pennsylvania has been emboldened by the Trump-Pence administration’s actions. Just this past session, the PA House and Senate rushed to pass Senate Bill 3 (SB3), an unconstitutional abortion ban that would have been among the most restrictive in the country.

If legislators don’t stand with us on issues related to access to health care, especially reproductive health care, then they don’t deserve to represent us. That’s why this year, we are fighting for reproductive health champions, like Governor Tom Wolf, and pushing to elect new leadership in Harrisburg.

Governor Tom Wolf stands with women. He vetoed SB3, stating, “Pennsylvania will not play games with women’s healthcare in our Commonwealth.” Additionally, Governor Wolf has expanded access to health care for over 700,000 Pennsylvanians by expanding Medicaid.

We need to re-elect Governor Tom Wolf on November 6th, and elect state representatives and senators who will support him in protecting and expanding our rights and freedoms. To learn more about work to elect champion state lawmakers, click here.
