Why give to PPPA?
Planned Parenthood license plate!
What We're Doing in 2009:
Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates (PPPA) is the statewide advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania. In 2009, PPPA is working to protect teen health by advocating for two bills in the Pennsylvania legislature – we need help from state and local supporters like you to be able to advance our priorities. You can read more about the bills here: http://www.plannedparenthoodpa.org/issues/sexeducation.php
- Grassroots Organizer Internship program: 12 full-time interns working for Planned Parenthood to increase support for sex education legislation – financial needs include supporting a three day training, travel, housing, and meal costs for the duration of the program
- Monthly phone banks into legislative decision makers’ districts talking to women voters and asking them to contact their House member!
- Continuing to educate voter’s in Pennsylvania about the need for comprehensive sex education legislation, and of candidates for statewide and local offices!
Why give to PPPA?
As Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates, we are trusted messengers on women’s health, and public policy. We are proud to educate voters on the state of teen health in Pennsylvania and demonstrate the need for REAL sex education in Pennsylvania schools!
The first $10 of any gift to PPPA will go to a one-year membership to our organization! Any gift above $10 will support our ambitious legislative priorities, internship program, and bringing pro-choice voters to the polls. You can donate to our program to change the face of the Pennsylvania’s approach to teen health by check, or online:
